Rally Against The American Health Care Act: Charlottesville

Tom Garrett, representative of the 8th Congressional District of Virginia, just voted "yes" to pass the American Health Care Act, a bill which overturns the Affordable Care Act and puts a new harmful bill in its place. This "replace and repeal" was created specifically to be direct assault on marginalized populations- the people most affected by the passage of the American Health Care Act are communities of color, disabled people, low income and working class persons, LGBTQIA persons, domestic and sexual violence survivors, and women. If you have the means and accessibility, please join me and others in protesting outside Tom's office. Our protest will be centered around lifting the voices of people in the intersections of marginalization at letting Tom Garrett know we won't put up with his white supremacist, misogynist and homophobic attacks on his own citizens.
