Let's show up strong for the future of our healthcare!

With the recent news of Medica leaving Iowa's individual healthcare market, the ACHA bill passing in the House, and the Medicaid crisis caused by Branstad and the MCO's in Iowa -- it is more apparent than ever that members of Congress have aligned themselves with the pockets of Corporations, not everyday people.

Now they're trying to dismantle Medicaid.

Medicaid is a long standing, effective, government supported health care safety net - and they want to defund it and turn it into a block grant.

Block Grants are not good. They would result in:

- Weak regulation on federal funds

- Less state government transparency

- Limited federal government funding (no increased amount to
keep up with health care inflation)

- Drastic cuts to federal Medicaid funding

They're also proposing to spend less money on people with disabilities, adults, seniors - and more on children because it is more cost effective (better for profits).

We all know that MEDICARE FOR ALL is the answer but we need to defend Medicare and Medicaid from block grants and budget cuts!

Join us in front of Iowa's largest hospital to stand up for what's right, and fight to put people before profits!
