Join us February 17, 2017 at Beasley Park to participate in the national general strike, beach clean up and letter writing! This grassroots movement is calling for a national general strike in defense of our nation’s constitution. The F17 Strike is a general call to American workers wishing to show their power in withholding earnings from the government and vote with their dollar. Any one who is interested in joining us to stand of for human rights, environmental rights and our constitutional rights come to Beasley Park with a trash bag. The beach cleanup will be from 10:00am-11:00am. Then at 11:00 we will gather at one of the pavilion for letter writing. Postcard, pens and addresses will be available. It will be a great opportunity to give a voice to issues that may be concerning you about decisions you see happening politically on the local and national level. Please join us in solidarity to remind our elected officials that they work for us!
