March On, Montana (Women's March)

On January 21, 2017, over ten-thousand women, men and children marched on the Montana State Capitol in Helena. On this day, we woke up! Now, more than ever, we are seeing how critical it is that we stay engaged, informed and active in our fight for economic, social and political justice!

Our current vision for March On, Montana (formally known as Women’s March on Montana) is to make it possible for everyone in Montana to stay awake, informed and active in national, state and local governmental issues.

March On, Montana’s website, Facebook pages, community conversation and collective resistance meetings will serve as a clearinghouse for ongoing educational and activism information. Our purpose is to serve as a guide for information and a hub for linking marchers to various organization and local, state and national events.

We will issue a newsletter, weekly calls to action and will include on-going calendars of action in local communities. We will post education about governmental processes and publicize information about various issues around which people are being active. We will post resource pages for local and statewide organizations.
When we do decide to take part in national calls to action or to sponsor another statewide march, we will let you know! Information about these large events will always be communicated via our website, Facebook pages and our email distribution list.
