We're going to rally outside the CDC's Washington DC office on Monday morning to show our support for agency scientists who are being censored. We will call on the CDC's political leadership to affirm scientists' ability to serve our communities without fear of censorship.

Why now? A recently leaked list of 7 banned words at the agency is part of an ongoing pattern of censorship and disregarding evidence from the Trump administration across science agencies. Sidelining science doesn't just hide the truth...it hurts people!

The CDC must be able to do its job, including protecting public health and safety, especially the health and safety of marginalized people and underserved communities. The public has a right to public science, free from political interference and we will not stand for censorship. We want science, not silence and we want science justice.
