Raise the Age Michigan: Grand Rapids Discussion

The ACLU of Michigan in collaboration with Michigan Council on Crime and Delinquency (MCCD) and Michigan League of Public Policy (MLPP) are advocating for legislation to raise the age of juvenile jurisdiction from 17 to 18 and remove all youth under the age of 18 from adult correctional facilities and relocate them to facilities which can adequately serve their developmental needs. 

The Raise the Age MI Campaign is a collaborative of hundreds of agencies, organizations, and individuals who are committed to improving outcomes for young people across our state.
