As a registered nurse and educator for 39 yrs. Kathy has worked tirelessly under demanding conditions to advocate for her patients, their families and her students. She cares about people and will advocate for the needs of all the people in the 101st District when she goes to Lansing. Kathy is a member of the Housing Action Committee in Leelanau Co, precinct delegate for Empire Township, she sits on the Empire Zoning board of Appeals, & the Leelanau Co. Solid Waste Council. In addition Kathy was the county captain for the Voters Not Politicians ballot initiative.
