LIVES ON THE LINE: Stories of Survival, Grit, and Determination.
They stand in bread lines, march on strike lines and live far below the poverty line. These are the low-wage workers leading the Fight for Fifteen and a Union and they have stories to tell.

A StorySlam including Special Guest: The Moth Radio Hour's Matthew Dicks

This past summer we held our very first story slam in front of a sold-out audience! At the end of the night the most common question was: when is the next one? We now have an answer!

Live On The Line will feature brand new stories from the June story slam alumni along with new KC Speaker Corp members and a very special guest, Matthew Dicks. Matthew Dicks is an award-winning storyteller, author, public school teacher and former fast food worker. His award-winning stories have been featured countless times on the Moth Radio Hour and on This American Life, TED Talks and others.
