Are you someone who is negatively impacted by a nearby factory farm (i.e., Concentrated Animal Feeding Operation or CAFO)? Or are you simply a concerned citizen seeking empowerment to act on behalf of Indiana’s environment?

Join the Hoosier Environmental Council, in partnership with Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation, on Saturday, December 9th from 10am-2pm in the Kiwanis Room of the Syracuse Community Center for an educational workshop on CAFOs presented by HEC's Senior Staff Attorney and Director of Agriculture Policy, Kim Ferraro. Learn about the impacts of CAFOs on Indiana’s environment, economy, and human health, alternatives for economic development, the role that food choice plays in ensuring a healthy environment for all, and what you can do to advance the movement for a more sustainable food production system both locally and statewide!
