Housing Justice Working Group Meeting

Come to talk about the continued fight for housing justice in Des Moines. We'll spend this meeting focusing on homelessness in our community, as well as how we can work together as renters under capitalism to make sure that we all have fair, affordable housing. A discussion of forming a renter's union modeled after the Dubuque DSA's chapter but here in Des Moines is on the agenda! We are also collecting donations for the Des Moines Catholic Worker House for winter!

If you are able to bring a donation to the meeting, these are requested items:
- stuff for people camping/on the street in winter, sleeping bags, blankets
- coats, underwear, warm socks, long johns, any warm clothes (larger sizes preferred)
- no kids clothing
