On June 26th U.S. Representative Don Beyer will host a forum on net neutrality in Arlington, Virginia with former Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chair Tom Wheeler and former FCC General Counsel Jonathan Sallet.

The FCC has just started the process to undo the Open Internet protections that guarantee Net Neutrality. That includes upending the legal basis for the rules, Title II, and the substance of the protections themselves — like the current prohibition against a broadband provider blocking users from choosing what content they access. The FCC is now soliciting public comments on its proposals, which makes it important to understand their potential impact on everyone who uses the Internet.
