Chicago EPA Day of Action

230 S Dearborn St
Chicago, IL 60603
United States
December 1, 2017,
12:00 pm to 2:00 pm

Trump wants to cut our U.S. Environmental Protection Agency budget by more than 30 percent—but our Senators can stop this agenda dead as they prepare to vote on a spending bill the first week in December. We need to raise our voices and demand Senator Tammy Duckworth do whatever is necessary to stop Republicans from making ANY cuts to the EPA’s budget! Join us Dec. 1 for a petition delivery rally at Senator Duckworth's office in Manhattan to show her Chicagoans are counting on him to stand up for the EPA!

Did you know that the EPA was born out of mass social movements in the 60s, alongside many fights for justice, like civil rights? It is a product of hard fought grassroots efforts to safeguard our land, water, air and communities. Now in 2017, we need to ensure environmental protections aren’t eroded through a Senate budget vote this December.

Join us to stand up for our environmental protections!
