Join us for Progress Iowa's 5th annual holiday party!
We will have a terrific lineup of speakers again this year - and if you buy your ticket early you'll be the first to know who they are! Some of our past speakers have included Jason Kander, Founder of Let America Vote,U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders, Sister Simone Campbell of Nuns on the Bus, and former Texas State Senator Wendy Davis.
Our holiday party is a great chance to support Progress Iowa visit with fellow progressives, and refuel for the fights still ahead of us.
During this year's legislative session, Republicans in the state legislature passed laws to gut our schools, strip away collective bargaining rights, override local ordinances in order to decrease the minimum wage, defund access to women's health services, and implement voter suppression. Not to mention Governor Reynolds' budget crisis and reckless corporate tax giveaways.
We're still in this fight, but we need your help -- we hope to see you on December 19 for our holiday party!
